These look Great! I would lay off the aggressive shading though, it makes the drawings a little hard to read.

Yeah I totally agree. It didn't think about it while I was boarding, but seeing it from afar, it is hard to read. It's good to keep in mind for next time. Thanks, love :)

But you need to slow down a bit and approach the thumbnails with a plan in mind. they seem so energetic that you've lost the point of them. Especially for action.
action has to be exceptionally clear!
these are thumbnails yes but they need to be clearly staged, acted, and shot from you mind to the paper.
I like that you used ink and not pencil. that's good.
you're acting wasn't the strongest in all of these and remember
action minus acting is just action and that gets boring.
Character always has to live in action scenes and we as artist and storytellers need to illustrate that. Portlynns eyes are super strong in her boards, Louis' gesture are super strong and if we could merge them two together we'd have some really nice thumbs.
Portlynn's right about the overshading. you don't need it. the problem is you're swiping the pen in a diagonal for shading and there's not variation or consideration for depth so the thumbs come off flat.
So don't do that. haha.
with action we need to have clear;
"Choreography and Acting"
the backgrounds will take care of themselves.
